WEDDINGS

There are a number of things to think about when deciding on your wedding cake and there are also so many options available! At Windmill Bakery we work with a range of customers, some may know exactly what they would like whilst others have no idea where to start. Wherever you may be at your planning stage we work with you to talk through your ideas, your inspirations, what you like and don't like. Often it is hard to imagine what your wedding cake is going to look like, therefore we often create sketches of designs to help you see how your ideas will translate into your wedding cake.

We can offer consultations to talk through your ideas.

Below is some questions that may be helpful to you when deciding on your wedding cake:

I have no idea what sort of wedding cake I would like where do I start?

A good place to start is by looking at what you have already chosen for other aspects of your wedding. Have you chosen a rustic theme, are there certain colours you would like to continue, are flowers a big part of your day, do you or your partner have any strong interests that you are bringing through to the wedding decor? By thinking about other aspects of the wedding it helps you to decide what we can continue through onto the wedding cake.

What size cake do I need?
